RedM
Can anyone recommend a store other than the usual Amazon, HMV, Zavvi where I can get a huge selection of music in CD format rather than as a download? I've tried searching but just seem to end up with itunes style stores or places that have run out of stock (if they ever had it) of obscure stuff. Cheers. michael
I tend to use http://www.find-cd.co.uk and then pick from the results it brings up. If it's really old obscure stuff it might struggle but it usually does OK for me.
Pete
http://www.netsoundsmusic.com/ http://www.musicstack.com/ I used to go here a lot when I lived in Stockport - -http://www.vinylexchange.co.uk Is Record Collector magazine still going? They always had loads of advertisers with rare stuff in.

It just links to sites that just seem to list every CD ever but with many of them being out of stock and delivery measured in weeks.
Pete
For anything specific you're after I find an ebay stored search which regularly emails you is useful.

Why didn't you mention it in your original message then instead of wasting my time? Any other sites you'd care to mention just so that we can save ourselves the trouble of trying to help you? Any other sites you'd care to mention just so that we can save ourselves the trouble of trying to help you? I'd forgotten about it TBH. There must be dozens of sites out there. What are the chances of the first one to be mentioned one that I'd already written off? Now, go and be grumpy in someone else's thread.
