Pete
I don't get it? Are they saying PCs require many many big fat envelopes? Or are they saying we can take a PC out of an envelope too so big deal? Weird.

bmx1lew
i like this one http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z0ERgZ9dztk&feature=related it is pretty pointless, i dont see why they have to make a super small laptop with ultra crap spec for the sake of saving a few inch, have you seen the macbook pro's they are thin enought and have a dvd writer, why cary add ons or have to wifi onto other macs in order to burn a cd, too much hassle if you ask me. tbourner
I've got a super thin phone which has rubbish features, it's the best phone I've ever had and I'm keeping it above everything else that's out there. I'd have a super thin laptop as well. Some people just like that kind of thing.

So to show the 'comparison' they had to have it coming out of an envelope, just like the Air. Or they're saying that why spend all that money on that, when you can have all this, and more (rubber chicken etc.)... Thats my breakdown of it, but there could be another! If you have to explain a joke, its obviously not that funny for some IMO

Lew It depends what you need: I use a laptop just for work and I don't think I've ever used the DVD Drive. As I lug it around all the time, something light and thin would be great. They should've removed half the gubbins from the Dell otherwise. Probably just American sense of humour going straight over my head again. (What amusing is just now my FF dictionary didn't recognise the spelling of humour....or recognise.)
