Its my daily drive so fuel economy was a consideration . Vicky : I,ve since sold the white mk3 to my good mate John 89T on the mk3 site and he,s taking over where i left off ....although i did manage to buy the wheels off it . Guest Piston_Broke
How long til you start asking who can drop a TT lump into it then?! Haha , i,ve got no plans for that , although i do miss the awesome power of a " fettled " turbo engine . Its a very low mileage ( approx 30,000 ) original car and my main priority is to clean it detail it and enjoy it , Besides that , big power modded turbo mk4"s aren,t cheap LOL, I went the other way, MKIV N/A to the MKiii 1JZ Liking the wheels on the new car. Cheers Todd , and yep the mk3 is a fine car if you can find a good one welcome along cars both look nice. what sort of power was the mk3 making? I never dyno,d the car , but running at 1.5 bar i,d guess it was making 400+ from the way it performed against other modded mk3,s with known dyno figures .
