Markie
Just a bit confused. I thought I had the latest model soop. I mean last of the bunch, after they did all the changes and then just produced them until stop. Its a late 97 VVT-i which I thought was a facelift model, but I have seen alot of other soops on here with the side repeaters on the bumpers, but mine are in the front wing. Any ideas? I also have lights on the rear bumper at the side. Markie..
merckx
My car is a Oct 97 VVTI, it's got the side repeaters on the front bumper. Have you got the three separate dials for temp, boost and fuel?
geoffvalenti
Hi Markie Surely the reason your side repeaters are on the wings is because you've got a Do-luck front bumper. If the car had it when it came into the country, it would need repeaters for SVA. I've got the lights on the rear bumper, I was under the impression that all facelift cars had them. Alex
Mine is a facelift with an aftermarket bumper. The bodyshop that did the work decided to put the repeaters in the wings instead of the in the aftermarket bumper.

Alex
It was on the car when I bought it....but yes I wouldn't have personally chosen that approach.
TRD3000GT
more than likely had the front wings replaced with some earlier model wings. May be the previous ownr had a little prang?

TRD3000GT
Sorry did not think about that May be the arches were replaced and flared a little for a better fit on the doluck nose cone, ? My front arches were slightly flared to make the fitment look a lot better. My car is exactly the same :flame Dev
Markie
Yes, I have the extra dials for boost etc in the dash. You guys think its just because of the SVA and the do luck bummper then? I hope so..
SimonB
I've seen a couple of facelifts with indicators in the wings now, TimWildmans is the same. I think they just cut a hole in the wing and mounted them in there. I haven't got any side repeaters since I changed my front bumper - I just stick some temporary ones on for the MOT and then take 'em off again.
