Wez
They want to save some electricity, how about turning all the fapping pointless traffic lights off and putting roundabouts back, this would also ease congestion. Ahhh, hang on a minute, if its not congested they cant bring a congestion charge, my mistake, carry on

JustGav
Well, I'm not supporting earth hour as I forgot, didn't realize...whoops... But I did have a hell of deal today, got a whole stack of home automation stuff, pir sensors, on/off wall sockets the lot, for £1 each Bought the whole stack, so I now have a master off switch when I leave the house which turns EVERYTHING off at once
MrRalphMan
Where did you get all that stuff from.. nice deal.
JustGav
Where did you get all that stuff from.. nice deal. B&Q, the home easy, stuff, was in the bargain bin reduced to £5 per item, (ie pir + socket; switch + bulb holder; switch + socket)... as soon as it went through the till at £1 I went back and got the whole frigging lot... beats the hell out of paying £20 per unit.... and more importantly the missus didn't have a problem with me spending £25 given the amount of stuff I've got. So I've spent the evening plugging absolutely everything in.

Mind you fully intend on winding the kids up one night by randomly turning things on and off in their room while getting the room audio to play some 'woooooo' sound effect..
