We have a very low footprint so we turned some extra lights on.

 

BTW, the govt. seem keen to cut down on energy usage and yet they are persisting with this move to digital television and radio ignoring that digital radios, for example, use about six times more electricity than old radios.

Obviously all the profit will be churned make into the ground to make a difference

 

...Or in to disposing of all the redundant televisions, vcrs and radios that aren't capable of handling digital. They do exist!

A radio station here are doing 'power fm party in the dark' in the Spinnaker tower. I had no idea why until I saw this thread. :)

Last time I listened to PowerFM it was cheese central. Haven't been back since :D

 

I turned my PC off when I went to watch the tele earlier on.

 

I left mine running while I left it alone for a few hours this evening :(

 

Or into another few houses for the MP's

Almost a blackout in Canary Wharf business district if all goes to plan, a lot of man hours has gone into the lighting system shut down for this, I will keep an eye out, I can see the Wharf from the back bedroom :)

Family had tea by candlelight, dad wasnt impressed though as he came in from the garage and bumped into a few doors and fell over the dog :(
