cossack
just wondering if anyone has a outdoor heated hot tub as i was thinking of getting one, do the cost much to run and do you use it much or was it just a waste of money??
boxst
My neighbours had one and hardly ever used it. Which I thought was a shame as I had a good view and they had two daughters aged 18 and 20 living at home Steve

Blackie
I saw some stunning hot tubs at the ideal home show, Stereos, lights the lot. You could fit 10 people in one of them i saw
flukey-lukey
You can rent them instead of buying. Might be worth thinking about and if you find you use it often go and buy one. I think it would be awesome to go out on the lash, bring a lovely lady home and drink champagne in the hot tub on a mild summers night
mkirby
i bought one of the ones you can hire, they cost £200 from ebay, fit 4 people, heat to 40 degrees C and have 90 jets Not had chance to use it yet but cant wait for the summer. I couldnt see the point of spending £4k on one that you use a few times a year!! Mike

Roger
Hot Tubs are an amazing way to get groups of girls in their underwear, and makes hanging out after the club a lot more interesting. I would rate it as a good investment for that alone

marbleapple
I worked part time for a swimming pool company over the summer. People with hot tubs were an utter nightmare. The tubs are cheap but the chemicals to keep them clean and the water clear are not cheap and people often don't bother with the chemicals (and then wonder why they feel like their skin is melting etc etc)
tooquicktostop
A mate of mine has one in this garden, I know him and his wife 'use it' so there is no way I would be rushing to get the speedos on and jump in, its like sharing someone bath water at a party

I was getting worried that filling one up (should I everget one) would put me out of breath before any other EC activities.

They aren't cheap to run by all accounts and those outdoor covers as much good as a chocolate fire guard for keeping heat in - I would expect your bills to rise quite significantly
