Dr_Doom
To fit a J-spec TT Thought i'd see if anyone's got one lying around before i splash out and order a new one... Preferably Apexi, Blitz but anything considered Cheers
jamesmark
Stick with stock if that is what you have, or get a stock airbox and filter. Much better than any induction kit, if you must go for an aftermarket kit try and get an Apexi. Nic also has recommended a few. Do a search. Scooter
I have this apexi one, but its for a TT aristo. Same 3" fitting over the intake pipework as the supra but not sure the supporting brace piece will bolt straight into one of the supras airbox mounting bolt holes, like it would on an Aristo. Would 'hang' ok IMO or bracket could be adapted?
Pixelfill
If you are after a stock box I have one with slight hinge damage (it still seals) Let me know if you are interested Rob. Mike

Dr_Doom
I'm keeping the 5spd box until i can find a 6spd that isn't going for silly money. There's no way i'm paying £1000-1500 for a gearbox that might break and leave me with a £900 repair bill! There's been a couple breaking just recently that hasn't filled me with confidence (gaz1 etc..) Anyhow, i've done plenty of research and the 5spd box should be fine up to 400bhp, plenty of people are running them. Supposedly better acceleration than the 6spd but lower top end (150ish).. If the worst happens and it breaks then i can probably pick up another for £200 so not the end of the world

Dr_Doom
I'd love to have a go but i've not got a garage (or the skills!) There's no way i'm doing it outside in the snow... Keron @ extreme performance is doing the conversion. He's already done a few & they've turned out well
