I was just thinking that I needed to step up my programme after scoffing a year’s supply of chocolate over Easter. Just to top it all off, I thought a Supra Forum Exercise Poll would be in order.:D

I wonder if Supra owners take care of their bodies as much as their cars?

Exercise choices: (No exact deffinition so don't complain:d)

Light: Steady walking over distance; very gentle jogging, (Heart beat raised only moderately above normal rate)

Medium: Steady running; Sports club activities such as martial arts, badminton, tennis; hiking over distance etc

Heavy: Full aerobic workout – long runs at pace; aerobic gym activity, rowing; advanced level sports (rugby, martial arts, football etc) - Heart beat raised to its maximum above normal rate.

I am neally 35 now so only train about 6 - 7 hours per week at a medium to heavy intensity. I worked it out that I have been training for the last 23 years at various levels.

Age - 11 - 14 years - Cross Country

Age 14 - 16 years boxing and weight training

Age 16 - 22 years - The Parachute Regiment - hardest thing I have ever done, when I was a PTI I trained on average 3 times per day.

Age 22 - 32 years - Full contact Kickboxing 10 - 12 hrs per week very hard (Competition) This was cross training, bag work, sparring, weights, running etc etc

Age 32 - to date - Trying to cling onto some level of fitness but old age and lack of motivation is catching up. Still do a bit of bag work, sparring, weights and running - all at a bit of a slower pace now - LOL

I walk to the fridge when my beer hand is empty if that counts :D

I used to play squash and run a fair bit before I did my knee in a couple of years ago. Wakeboarding and snowboarding are about the only things I do now. One snowboarding holiday and frequent wakeboarding in summer probably averages out to about 1-2 hours a week over the year :D

Funny you should start this thread Andrew. I have just stepped up my fitness routines as im getting fit for travelling. So far i am doing a morning session of 1.5 hours. Low intensity cv - fat burning and weight training. And an afternoon session of high intensity CV 1 min 30 slow pace (recovery) followed by 30 seconds sprint pace (175 bpm). Again for 1.5 hours. so at the moment i am doing 3 hours a day.

Im losing 1kg a day at the moment.

Im really enjoying it especially as i have a goal in mind.
