bignum
Went to litchfield imports on saturday as they had an openday and my mate has just ordered a spec c scooby, they had a couple of motors on the rolling road in powerstation next door and the output figures were shocking.1 made 533hp @ the flywheel but lost 210 through the transmission, so 320@ wheels,, they also had a new nissan gtr there which looks massive in the flesh, nice though. TrickTT
How do you know it made 533 at the fly from a rolling road dyno? You get a wheel figure and the rest is best guess. I think they are providing pub bragging rates. except for mine obviously, they were spot on with that

Swampy442
Its complicated to work out is transmission loss, age, wear and tear etc has alot to do with it. You generally get a factor i.e. 20% as a rough guide. Theres alot of diffs, gears etc in a scooby trans... Poor sods

If that's right it means that a 280bhp Scooby is only putting down a pathetic 170bhp at the wheels - where it really counts!
gledo1970
Powerstation... and their magic rolling road readings.... if they said good morning you'd need to go out side to make sure the sun was up..
