fri3ndly
I recently purchased this item from ebay (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NEW-Arcan-Aluminium-Service-Trolley-Jack-Garage-Jack_W0QQitemZ310026903257QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item310026903257&_trksid=p3285.c81.m20.l1116) for £150 including postage I bought it as I thought it would be the only jack I could find to lift my car, however the damn VS skirts are just too low. The jack gets perfectly underneath, but its when it lifts that the middle touches the skirts before the base touches the jacking point. If you dont have VS skirts then this should be fine. I am looking for £100 inc postage ideally, I dont think the ebay seller will allow me to send back as I have 'used' it. If theres no interest I'l stick it on ebay. Pics below. michael
Wow someone is making a nice profit on eBay Costco special, generally available for under £80, great piece of kit though and even at your price it's cheaper than the stuff you can pick up in normal shops. I have the other one they do for a bit less and it weighs as much as the car, this one is a lot more portable.

In the mean time, if anyone wants it then PM me as I can remove it from ebay before it ends in 3 days and I would much rather sell it to a club member. Mike M
Cant you just drive the car onto a brick then use the jack. Cracking looking jack BTW.
fri3ndly
Cant you just drive the car onto a brick then use the jack. Cracking looking jack BTW. Yeh it is a nice jack. Its just that kind of defeats the object, I think imight just keep it as its a great tool and will also be useful in the future. For emergency purposes I think I need to source one of those air lifters as the scissopr jack that came with the supra cannot get under the skirts atall

Yep, I have a Costco one for ~£80. Great for lifting the rear of the car but, my car is still to low with the CW suspension on it (no body kit) at the front. I have to use the stock jack and Axel stands at the front before I can slide it in and lift it higher.

fri3ndly
It is still for sale if anybody wants it but I took it off of ebay for the time being. I did look at that machine mart jack although it only lifts 1 1/4 tonne

rick001
Have you tried using a block on the end when lifting (wood/steel) - may help, worth a try before selling
jamesmark
why, your electric one is the nads Very true the electric one is nice , however does not lift it as high as one of those jacks.
fri3ndly
Have you tried using a block on the end when lifting (wood/steel) - may help, worth a try before selling I can always use a block of wood on the end or a brick, but it means I would have to carry it round in the car with me and also the jack which weighs 26kg. I bought it mainly for emergencies like burst tyre. Im looking at the Draper inflatable 3 tonne jack but the new problem which arises is the my exhaust diameter is too big even with their 90mm extension
