The return of the Ford Capri

Nah, the MK1 3.0 V6 was the best :D

or at least my one was for me :p

Yup have to agree with you there, I had one of those when I was 19 y/o and I could only insure it monthly (GBP50:blink:). It front wings used to flap around and it left a Batman type smokescreen behind but I certainly had some fun in that car.

Remember drifting around the roundabout at the end of the M275(?) in Portsmouth on more than one occassion :innocent:

Also over taking about 7 cars going up Portsdown Hill and then getting stopped by a copper on a bike who was glad that I was keeping the Arabs in oil production. He had just followed the trail of oil smoke. Only had the car a week and he let me off.

"Try not to drive like a dick OK?" where his parting words.

Well if that indeed is the new capri (which i cant see it as ford have only just started talking about it), whats the point in calling it a capri, it looks nothing like what it was and surely the whole point about restoring a brand name is to re-invent the novelty... its just another car otherwise. There has to be some form of similarity? surely, like the mini, beetle and jetta?!
