How do you know when #2 turbo online?

If you have a boost gauge you will see the difference on the gauge at around 3800-4000rpm.

The 1st Turbo will boost to .7 bar and then you should get an increase to whatever your max boost is set at at the above rpm.

 

 

I dont unfortunatly Hodge, when im accelerating i hear a spinning up quite audible in the cockpit, is this #2 spooling waiting to come on line or #1 just going through the motions? :search:

With both cats in the surge does tend to be gentler than with them removed, also get a boost gauge then you can see what boost is running.

 

Can i come over now colin? My moby is on way in pm :D

That'll be the first one spooling and boosting mate. When the second one comes in you're a little too busy to be listening. :eyebrows:

Only recently had my n/a converted to TT (so be gentle with me ;) ) - How do i know when #2 turbo comes on line? Should i be feeling a fresh surge of power or is smooth?? :search:

 

a give away turbo 2 is in will be when you are looking down the road out of the passenger door window!:D
