So im going to look at a 1.4Glx 206 tomorrow as a 2nd car for work to replace the Supra, so i can actually start doing stuff to her. See Link,

Not bad mate - I've been looking at doing the same thing recently, but decided I don't actually need a 2nd car now.

Honest opinion here - that does seem quite a high price - I know you can get 98 plate Polo's, or 306's, with a similar engine size and mileage for a good £400-500 less.

That said, it's down to the individual as to what they want - the 306/polo's will have a more dated interior (and exterior) in comparision.

Good luck though! It definately looks like a nice, looked after car! Pugs tend to be cheapish to maintain and fairly reliable.

The 1.4 pug petrol engine is horrible to drive - S-L-O-W and not particularly good on the go go juice. Go for one of the diesel options, much nicer to drive with decent low down torque and high mpg.

Cheers,

Brian.

I've got a 306 diesel turbo as my run around and can't fault it, me and the missus both have peugeot diesels, she has a 307 hdi.

I can't say I've ever had any problems with peugeot diesels, We've had 205's, 406, 306, 309, and the 307, never had a 206 though :)
