bmx1lew Posted March 23, 2008 Share Posted March 23, 2008 started her up today, she hasnt been started since Thrusday so i warmed her up till the temp gauge hit half way, once she was warmed through the revs drop to 300rpm and the car shakes quite a lot, i have took a video but it dosnt pick it up to well, if watch when i put the camera on the steering wheel you can see it shake, when i got my car in august it never shaked like this, also there's seems to be a sqeek/hipitched sucking noise when i first turn the car which usually last's for say 5 mins then disapears, also there is allot of smoke from the exhaust, however it dosnt smell bad, i have also filmed it. ManwithSupra Posted March 23, 2008 Share Posted March 23, 2008 The Smoke is just looks like normal exhaust steam to me on a cold day, the low engine revs and shaking could be down to a misfire which is probably down to the spark plugs, get them changed and see what happens. DannoSupra Posted March 23, 2008 Share Posted March 23, 2008 Mine used to drop down its rev's with a split vac hose... BUT in theory, with a vac leak, revs go higher!!
