rick001
Need some tech help - I have recently had my n/a converted to TT:d, i had a delimiter on the n/a but all seems fine on the TT clocks that are in so i removed the converter/delimeter - now for some strange reason the check light comes on at @60mph and the engine is stalling - i reinstalled the delimiter but still same issue
MrRalphMan
Does the active spoiler light also flash? I had this when my car was worked on and a fuse was left out. The spoiler would not deploy and this warning popped up. Did you go with a FMIC? If so that could be your issue. Not sure how you get around it though. Steve
So it was working fine before you removed the delimiter? Did you remove your battery whilst you removed the delimeter?

Steve
Just that before messing with the electrics it always a good idea to disconnect the battery. Was it fine before removing the delimiter?

rick001
Any stored error codes? Have not checked error codes as yet, not done that before but have the "How too" - it only comes on when i reach 60mph!! Prior to this happening the speedo was under registering the correct speed, i was advised to remove the device to see if it corrected the speedo, which it did (cant understand this as its a j-spec TT clock with (now) no converter or delimeter in situ?? Totally baffling
Homer
Coming on at 60mph is going to be an active spoiler related issue. An error code diag should confirm if this is correct, until then we'd only be speculating
rick001
How is this possible if i am only TT conversion - does it feed back from the speedo for some reason??
Homer
The engine loom was changed so if it came from a TT with the active spoiler it might now be reporting an error to the ECU, hence your issue. As mentioned, the error code should confirm this. Edit - who did the conversion and why have they not fixed this?

Thanks
Steve
Just do the error code check, only takes 30 seconds to confirm this
Homer
That good news then, i will get it checked out tomorrow - can i cancel the error code if its that and how? Thanks The error will continue to be reported until the reason for the fault report is found. If you can so the error code check and confirm it's a spoiler fault we can go from there.. PS: Please see my edit above and respond

To do the above would i need to plug the pink to the blue/red that BOTH come from the odo side (connector block) leaving the pink and blue/red loom side free??? :search:
