pa06has
a one for you techies! I have cruise control but it doesnt work! - the light on the dash comes on but does not activate any sort of cruise control! Im guessing that if the light comes on, all the supporting wires are working!? I then checked under the bonnet and checked out the cruise control unit! which all seems to be in top order! any suggestions where to look now? and what to look out for? flukey-lukey
after pressing the button did you fiddle with the cruise control stick? It moves backwards and forwards and iirc up too so you can set your desired speed Took me a while to work out how to use mine, but then I decided its pretty pointless on todays congested roads
pa06has
Hi Luke, yeh i have messed around with it! tried changing it to different speeds! - just doesnt du ewt! Im convinced that something is missing as, the light works fine which i beleive suggests the connection to the unit is also working!
flukey-lukey
hmmm, sorry if this sounds like I think you're stupid, but you're not pressing the brake or go go pedal when you turn it on are you? As this will automatically disable it. other than what I've said above I have no idea
pa06has
nah mate - its fine! nope im pressing the buttom! and its starts to slow down, so i then fiddle with stick and its continues to slow down! flukey-lukey
lol, its definately broken then! Just leave it alone and pretend you never saw it in the first place, pointless gizmo anyway
pa06has
ha! suppose thats a good idea! but may need to buy new steering wheel + boss to help this go away! :D
paul mac
you are at the correct speed ?, IIRC the j-spec cruise only engages between 30-70 mph, over or under it will not work (safety feature !)
Pixelfill
may be scuppered by a dodgy speedo conversion also, Mike

Brad88
Alright I've just completed my CC install on my J-spec. The Cruise light comes on but when I go to set it, it just flashes the green cruise light. I just seen it only activates at 30mph+ pretty sure I was doing atleast that when I just took it for a drive. Any ideas?
