TT Engines bits

Scooter

Recommended Posts

All the items below are from a accident damaged 50-60K mile TT engine (engine mount cracked the block) stripped and stored approx 6 months ago.

1) Complete set of standard pistons/rings/rods all oiled and individually bagged + main caps(?) thrust bearing(?) pieces

2) Crank looks perfect.......one or two bearing shells had a slight score in them* (by complete chance this had been stored upright which apparently is important?)

3) Oil cooler/filter assembly

4) Water pump viscous coupling (no fan blade) and pipes that go around the block and to the turbos (i think) + oil pipes solid and flexi that go from the sump to the turbos

5) x2 knock sensors and oil pressure switch.

6) Both sump pieces and inner pickup pipe*

7) oil pump* and rear oil seal ali piece

8) one passenger side engine mount (i think i have this)

*Sump had a very small amount of metal particles from the block fracture, I would open up and inspect or possibly bin the oil pump as its probably not work the risk re-using it. The crank i'm sure is fine absolutely no visible marks on the journals where the shells show a couple of (minor) marks, engine bores were mint, engine was in exceptional condition bar the extra post shunt ventilation. All sump pieces just need a thorough cleaning to ensure all traces of metal are removed.

I'm hoping someone is seriously interested in the whole lot and I will accept £120 cash if someone can pickup from me GU8 or GU32(Junction 10 M25 meet poss maybe even a future club meet?) as this is going to be a hell of a lot easier than me posting some of these items. Pics can be taken of the parts, i haven't as yet as i'm not sure of the interest and they are currently well packaged and stored.

Offers invited for individual bits but i'll be leaving the whole lot up for a week or two for the reasons above.

How much for the crank mate ? can you provide pictures of the Marks as well please?

Do you think it will need regrinding?

the crank itself has absolutely no marks on it, its just a couple of the (softer) bearing shells that had marked up........i will get you some pic's.........

Will happily sell you it on the basis that if it measures out of true and is useless i will refund you......

Crank pictures............

It was stored like this straight from removal and the pictures of the actual crank were taken after wiping the grease from the journals (grease left on main bearing journal to show storage conditions)

I can post/send higher definition pics and degrease the crank fully if required but as you can appreciate its not a 2 minute job.

£50 delivered to you in Chandlers ford if you want it.....
