bromy
Hi, just got back from a night out, too find someone had scuffed the front of the supe removing the plate in the process , now it isnt too bad but i have just got it back from the paint shop on friday, bought Hyperformence's (chris's) old bonnet, had it sprayed in a nice honda pearl grey to simulate a carbon bonnet (will post some nice day photos ) now my gripe is with the police, phoned two seperate operators and they said the same thing quote " Mr Broomhead, unless you have proof, i.e cctv we are not willing to investigate the matter " unquote, now prior to this i informed them that we live in a quite cul-de-sac and it could possibly be a neighbour/neighbours visitor (and i didnt want to go snooping around the cars, i didnt tell them which, i did anyway and it wasnt any of them) they just wasnt intrested in the least and proceeded to give me the old incident number and informed me how busy it was on a saturday night, wankers nick
terribleturner
When the police do something of any good then everyones pleased, but do they really help the common man?? Has anyone actually ever had their house/car broken into and the police found the theiving scumbags?? Someone hit my back bumper while i was out in the West End last week and have pushed the body work out. I thought about telling the police but as you said Nick, they're just not that interested. I reckon like any business they want to make money, and to spend manhours trying to find a criminal, then locking him up for a couple of days/weeks and then getting him prosecuted just isn't worth the money. And look at this new car tax thing that they've spent millions of tax payers money on where they reckon that you'll get caught with their new system if you don't buy car tax. If this is true, then why do they still spend money on adverts telling us to grass up a neighbour, a friend or family?
