That would be grammar.

Monies is the plural of money.

Thats right, And "money's worth" not "monies worth".

I dont normally pull people up on their spelling etc, but since it was jake and he was trying to correct mine i couldnt resist. ;)

What a load of cr*p this thread is who gives a shit about class these day's.

Why feel the need post that you are middle class ?

Is your life that sad ?

sup STE D?

Class matters for a lot of people, maybe not to you right here right now. It's something you could grow up with and not think too much about.

Even Class one's username here shows us how important it is to him.

Look in the news, theres that american policitian guy who got nabbed for dealing in high-class prostitutes.

Or Prince Charles who is constantly slated for being out of touch, yet look at his sons, and how much more in touch they seem to be?! Is that chance or strategy?

Whats clear from the poll is that this forum unites both working and middle class under the "mkiv supra" flag, which can't be bad.

Maybe the working class here are happy that they have their dream car, and don't want to look for anything else? Whereas Maybe the Middle class, or middle class wannabe's feel that the supra is a bit distasteful, a bit brash, a bit too japanese, and see it as a step on the ladder to their ulitmate car - a ferrari, lambo, a porsche for example.

For me right now, I love my supe, and would not want anything else.

In future? Maybe a lambo or aston martini for me. Lambo while i still have my good looks for sure ;)

I never really thought class was an issue anymore until I went backpacking. It was there where I met British students taking gap years who clearly saw themselves as middle class, some of which were very proud of the fact which I found odd.

My Dad was a scrap man (now builder), my Mom was a cleaner and I'm a builder too. My Dad has been very successful in business though so I'd say we are wealthy, so does that now make us middle class?

Black is Black, Brown is asian, Yellow is.... kinda obvious?!, whats the main one I missed? Think of bruce lee, manga, and drifting.

:conf:

Manga from Japan.

Bruce Lee; American born Chinese, grew up in Hong Kong.

Japan and China are both Asian countries ie. ethnic Chinese and Japanese are Asian.

I grow up on council estate, went to state schools, did not go to uni and enjoy going to the pub once or twice a week. My girlfriend (who I live with) on the other hand comes from a very wealthy back ground (parents are millionaires), she’s only ever been to private schools, she has a degree and masters and in fact she is probably the most intelligent person I know, but I still earn more money than her (and she has a very well paid job) and although I’m probably classed and working class and she could even be classed and upper class, it means absolutely nothing to me and my class does not hold me back in anyway.

The great thing about this country is that if you have ambition you have a chance to make something of yourself.

I grew up in London with parent's that didn't have much money, and I myself don't have to much of it either. I have friend's that have much more than me, and some that have alot less than me, but I don't see myself as any better or worse than any of them. Classes exist, but IMO only for people who think they're above someone with less than themselve's. I couldn't care less what class anyone think's they are, however much they have, they are no better than me.
