slow_matt
I'm looking to sell my RSP TT as my daily commute is about to become 50 miles and I'm moving to a busy market town with no parking at all. I'm looking to sell in the next month after putting some fresh front tyres on. THE HISTORY The car was imported as new in 1998 by Brundle Toyota along with a few other similar cars, one was in Evo mag with one digit difference in Reg number. The car has been serviced by Brundle Toyota from new until the Toyota franchise was lost and it moved to even closer where it's been serviced since. My Dad purchased the car in 2001 with it having had 3 owners previously, and just over 20,000 miles on the clock. He owned it for 6 and a bit years with nothing other than a couple of aerial motors packing up. My Dad gave me the car last year as a 21st Birthday pressie, I think he thought it was a cheap way of getting rid of me! (I am very grateful I promise) THE UN-GOOD BITS There is some light very very light occasional puffing from the exhaust which would be a sign of aging valve stem seals, and under full boost there is some very slight coloured smoke sometimes. There are two tiny rubber bungs in the dash where there has been a PDA and a Gatso detector. Having to park the other side of Tesco's even if only using the cashpoint and the grief I get for it, and constant curtain twitching if leaving it on the road at a mates house. THE GOOD BITS The spec, pretty good for a JDM car. RZ-S Twin Turbo Tiptronic UK Brakes (Original) Black Leather Seats Smaller 3 Spoke Steering Wheel Twin Airbags Auto front spoiler Intergrated Fog Light (In Light Cluster) Pioneer MP3/WMA Player Kahn Split Rims Blitz FATT (Has been fitted for last 80,000 miles) VVTi http://photos-a.ak.facebook.com/photos-ak-sf2p/v116/148/109/513975421/n513975421_975664_4955.jpg http://photos-d.ak.facebook.com/photos-ak-sf2p/v116/148/109/513975421/n513975421_975667_5869.jpg http://photos-b.ak.facebook.com/photos-ak-sf2p/v160/57/103/680293409/n680293409_528657_4829.jpg https://www.hertsinsurance.com/rides/albums/userpics/10016/front_3quaters.jpg https://www.hertsinsurance.com/rides/albums/userpics/10016/IMG_4902.JPG Mileage is 113,500 and T&T is until June Many thanks Matt
Kopite
Looks a bargain for that price, even with the mileage and the stem seals, should sell no problem!
JamieP
Looks a nice car:)
Supra Pilot
Don't know the condition of the car, but it looks like you are killing the market with such a low price!
colsoop
That is lvoely, get some engine bay and interior pics up. what colour is the smoke that you mention ?
carl0s
Hmmm. If it wasn't for all the effort required in wiring up speakers, amps etc, I'd be offering you my car plus a grand as a part-ex. I'd love a VVTi car (presuming this is VVTi.. being a '98 with the new steering wheel).
slow_matt
Hey, Thanks for the nice comments. Just realised I didn't mention it has a tiny tiny oil leak that occasionally leaves a spot on the driveway. The smoke at idle, is just a very light colour and there's no mixing of water and oil under the oil filler cap. The smoke under boost is quite dark, but it's not dense at all. Nothing that's concerned me to be honest. I spent an hour writing out a pitch and by the time I posted I was logged out and lost it all. The car is also a VVTi Price wise I don't want to take the piss, if it was 60,000 miles and perfect I'd be asking £10k + Cheers
Gaz Walker
That is lovely. Good luck with the sale.
slow_matt
Cheers for the comments, I've tried to be honest as I've travelled enough times to see a 'mint' car that is well under the mark. If it wasn't for it's occasional farting of smoke I would class it as mint

slow_matt
Tyres have arrived and are being fitted asap, just short on time as I should be moving next week. Also ordered some new discs from steve manley as I noticed some slight pulsing at the front the other day, even thought they'd only covered a couple of thousand miles. That's the update for the moment. Cheers

slow_matt
Who said it was Branners ? Only kidding, really I hope she serves you well. Bizarre feeling, first time I've sold a car that I actually like, and Branners could not have been a better person to buy the old girl.
