Were you in the SAS?

Just heard about starvation, lots of deprivation (of just about everything), beatings, psychological torture, physical torture, etc etc etc.

yeah in a really really wierd way, i knew him befor ehe joined the sas as he was in the same regt as my dad and he was one of the lads

when i saw him at 14 he was 16 stone and had a full on beard as he was working under cover in ireland for 6 years, he soon lost it all within a few months.

but his attitude was different, he had a look in his eyes, one you didnt wana ask why or how

iv met plenty of sas guys on tour in iraq, i had to teach 15 of them biological testing equipment and they were all chilled out, wearing what ever they wanted in some cases shorts and flipflops and shades was wierd to see

but they all had the look to

i was bricking it when they asked if i wanted to join them instead of teaching them as i knew where they were going and what they were doing

unreal, you just reminded me.. thats what my mate said. He said he had a quiet way about him and when looking at you had a strange look in his eyes like he was sizing you up or suspiscious.

over the last few years i have spent time working with these guys and teaching them as well, also doing the same courses as some of them,

They are a good bunch of lads, although the stereo typed example of them being scruffy and too chilled is mostly done because that is what stories go around and they do it on purpose! Other times they have very blatent disreguard for young officers which is very funny when you are with them. again its because they can do!

  • 1 month later...

Just watched the next episodes on Sky+, the Iranian Embassy & that Scottish Prison hostage situation. Maggie seemed to love them, if I was PM I'd give them a licence to kill who ever they wanted :), no questions asked.

The way that prison guard (Jackie Stuart) was tret was shocking.
