My wifes just reminded me that I won her too. Out of hundreds of entries and a few semis, I came first.

You allow her to look at your monitor when you're defending her against the scum of the earth?... What sort of protector are you?... :)

I won 2 Bon Jovi tickets on Kerrang radio couple of months ago for this summer

Are you going? When and where is it?... Being blatant, I'm interested if you want some ££ for them!...

I entered the welly throwing contest and won...first AND second prize of a litre of whisky and 200 cigarettes. Not had much luck since.

I won a welly throwing contest too. Yarm Junior School open day 1978 or thereabouts. I still have the Golden Welly that I won as a prize (a kids welly sprayed with gold paint mounted on a plaque)

I once won $860 on 1 hand of four card poker in Hooters Casino in Las Vegas. Turned over 4 8's

It's odd that you say that but I don't consider gambling (and winning) in the same vein as winning a competition or the Lottery.

FWIW I have, in the past, won 'a fair bit' playing cards but it's not like 'real' winning, if that makes sense.

I had a really vivid dream the other night that I won the lottery, knew where i was, who was around me, I think even the numbers, well I have a strong sense about them so will be sticking them on the lotto tonight and tomorrow and hoping for the best.

So in short, yes I have won something, the lottory ;)

Won a new TV and £100 at Shipleys Amusements in Solihull about8 years ago now.

Also won £50 through Premium Bonds. Couple of tenners on the lottery and that's it.

Oh, my dad won a new Playstation, the first original, by entering a Kodak Competition which asked you to submit a slogan about why their prints were better. He came up with "Kodak quenches the quality quest, producing prints which are simply the best". I thought that was pretty good.

Playing the lottery is gambling. You pay a quid, pick six numbers and if they come out of a machine you win. If your numbers don't come out you get nowt.

Sounds pretty similar to me.

Top of my head:

Dragonball 06, Chris Wilson fast road pads and also the Whiffbitz prize.

Dragonball 07, Chris Wilson fast road pads :D and also a HKS fuel rail.

It was NOT a fix but I wished I hadn't bragged all day that I was going to win the Chris Wilson pads again like last year  The boo's were deafening, I made a sharp exit for a smoke :D

Nope, won nothing :(

Many years ago I had an opportunity to design Honda's motorbike racing leathers.

The winner would get a road version on the race bike. Can't remember the model.

SO,... I had my heart set on the bike and went to town designing the leathers.

I literally spent WEEKS doing nothing else but designs, presentation boards and moc-ups etc..

After the deadline I heard nothing so decided to give the organisers a call to find out if my designs had been successful,.. only to find the main bike sponsor had decided they didnt want to allow the competition to go ahead due to corporate identity regulations and guidlines.
