Muffleman
Had a Toyota Levin in a couple of weeks ago with the black top Toyota 4A-GE engine. It came in for a power run on the dyno to make sure it was okay. 80k on the clock and this little 1600cc engine made 160bhp Normally aspirated but 20v with VVT and individual throttle bodies. Really nice power curve and was still making power at the rev limit. I was impressed
tDR
Gotta love some of the Toyota N/A's - wring the neck of them and they still come back for more!
bondango
Good old 4A-GE, especially the Ae86 16valvers - foot to the board and the only thing they do is run out of fuel or explode the rear tyres lol
Nick
Mate of mine has an AE86 with a fully built engine and it's a blast to drive.
knight-racer
We did a restoration project for a customer on one of these AE86. Completely standard, lovely little car. The black and white looks just like the Japanese Initial D!
