fuel pump jspec vs export

I had a UK spec pump once, brand new, that did the same thing. It turned enough to slightly pressurise the fuel system and start the car, but delivered very little fuel so as soon as you revved it, it stalled. It'd also chug and die after a few seconds of idling. It was a bad brand new pump, Toyota took it back and replaced it.

Check how much fuel is flowing by removing the return hose and venting it into a suitable container, then try starting the car. I'll bet nothing really comes out.

So Ian, i had the same issue with it yesterday....

After testing everything I decided to put it in 12V mode, as I blamed the pump ECU and it worked, now everything is ok, the car runs good at low and high boost.

So i confirm, the euro spec pump isn't compatible with the jspec pump ecu !!
