GT5P is downloadable ;) Free in Japan but if you follow links above, you wont need a jap account :)

From what I can see you can get the GT5 demo for free, and I've got both the UK and Japanese ones, but Prologue costs 4500 Yen to download, unless I've missed something.

James,

I've a few games if you want to borrow some :-

Call of Duty 3

Call of Duty 4 (Ace)

Need for Speed Pro (pants)

Paradise City Burnout (Ace)

If you like shoot em ups cod3 / 4 are great and you can borrow them, just give me a ring? Or let me know when JNE next meet is on and I'll pop over with them.

Tom

Cool, thanks Tom. I like shoot em ups but only on the PC as i can't fathom out how anyone can use one of them controllers for a shoot em up! It's hard enough doing a driving game! Paradise City Burnout sounds good though ;)

Blimey, Heavenly Sword is a bit good!

Its what I hoped Devil May Cry would be, but so much better. I only bought it as they'd run out of copies of that new Viking game and it was cheap second hand.

Only downside is it looks like it might be quite short, so may only be worth renting. But I've enjoyed it immensly so far.

Uncharted seemed pretty good as well, it reminds me of Pitfall with Bruce Campbell on the PS1 for some reason.

Resistance seems a bit cr*p tho

Anyone playing Tekken 5 online? I have been recently its great fun, but I suck at it :)

Is that only humiliating online play or can you play single player?

I've recently got a PS3 and been playing through all the demos available through the online store thing. The Darkness demo looked cool, not too sure on that uncharted one though, downloaded a load more yesterday so will have to have a go tonight.

I got that Pain from the download too, that's good fun :D Any of the other full games on there worth paying for? Might have to give Warhawk a try.

bash a button, then bash another

Just like every other game made ever?! ;)

As far as easily pleased, then maybe. But I've found for that kind of game, there's some nice additions. The changes of pace when you're destroying the siege weapons with the cannon, the aftertouch when using ranged weapons, the story and acting have kept me interested in whats going on. Having the three different stances gives some variety, and it has made me think about how to fight some of the enemies as they do seem to learn if you spam the same attacks over and over.

It was never going to be as complicated as Eve, and I never expected it to be. But for the type of game it is, its very well done.

The first hour or two of play is a bit slow, it does get much better!

Ah cheers, I'll give it a bit more time and see if it sucks me in :)

Its got single player arcade mode, 2 player vs mode and online mode, but why play the PS3 when you can play against others and get rankings etc :) Its good fun/very aggravating! :D Great buy for £15 me thinks :)

I liked Heavenly Sword, graphics are amazing, and there are lots of moves you can do, its not all just the same button bashing :) My only criticism is that its a bit short, love guiding the arrows with the sixaxis controller :)
