JamesC
We just bought a new HD TV and also bought a PS3 to use as a Blueray player, i'm selling my Xbox 360 (not really a console person and only bought one game for it) to give some funds towards the PS3. The only game i had for the 360 was Forza 2 motorsport which was a really good game, so i'm wondering if there's anything like that out for the Playstaion? I wouldn't play any first person shooters or such because i think there much better on the PC . So, any recommendations?

lockys96
im buying a ps3 only for that game, will wait till this weekend to find a deal with GT5 P. i played GT5 P at the sema show last november, it was unreal, although this was big screen, seat, wheel etc and a r35 skyline, it looked more realistic in driving terms. thought id just power the corner, and no, lol off i went. Homer
If you've not played one in the series before, maybe try Grand Theft Auto 4, out in 5 weeks. I'm buying a PS3 just for that.
AlexM
Motorstorm, Ratchet & Clank, Unchartered (3rd person adventure/shooter), Ninja Gaiden Sigma, Virtua Fighter 5, Heavenly Sword.. all worth a look at. Until GT5P comes out it's quite weak on the driving game front though, it's one of the reasons I still have my 360.

Wez
Whats the difference between GT5 Prologue and GT5?
Homer
Whats the difference between GT5 Prologue and GT5? The prologue is a cut down version. Basically the same game, but with only a small percentage of the cars and tracks in the full version. It's a nice marketing ploy for them as many enthusiasts buy both... Wez
Sounds more like a rip off to me, sell a small version and then the same people buy the full one later Prologue should be free by the sounds of it, what other games do you pay for the demo version. Daston
You got to pay for the WoW "free" trial Originaly there was going to be a free downloaded version that didnt have the damage model and then a disk version with the damage, however not all the companies let them have damage due to making their cars look "unsafe"
Homer
Why not get an Xbox instead? £50 cheaper. I nearly bought one the other day, but decided not to as I'm a big Gran Turismo fan. I've only ever bought these two games for my PS2! Plus the PS3 has blue ray so will save buying a seperate player in the future...
JamesC
Thanks for that i think i'll wait for GT5 prologue and buy that. The deal i got with the PS3 was 2 games and an extra wireless controller for £300. I got that Ratchet & Clank which Spinkie mentioned but i thought it looked like a kids game so i was just going to leave it sealed and put it on Ebay! I also got Formula One Championship Editon which i didn't think much of at first but after playing it a few times i'm starting to get into it and do the career - i'm currently 17/

It is in Japan. I registered as a new user from japan back in november and got it then. It is missing the drift section though.
