hoff
The supe was having some work done on it yesterday and as I needed a car my mum kindly let me have her T reg Golf. She mentioned the breaks were not at there best. And I think she is right. Under breaking from anything above 40mph the pedal was bouncing quite a bit and the steering wheel was vibrating a lot. Am I right in thing that will be caused by warped break discs? Thanks:)
ShamelessTT
Sounds like it mate, thats how they were on my JSpec when i first had it except i only noticed it under firm breaking around 70mph. The pedal juddered (not like ABS) and the steering wheel was the same too. Also listen for rubbing with the windows down at low speeds.....not like a constant rub, a rub with each of the rotations of the wheels.
