SupraStar 3000
To be honest, I've converted and enjoy the ITV coverage. Sure, I agree, the adverts are a royal pain in the arse, both other than that, the production is great. Lets hope the Beeb don't mess around with the formula to much. and keep Brundle and Blundell! Pixelfill
Do you think it will go to HD next year then? It would be awesome. Any idea why Sky didn't mop it up ? Mike

RiceRocket
http://www.worldmotorsport.com/murray/ - love the quotes!!! at the 'body on track' and 'flames at back of Ferrari'. Great news though. Sharpie
Has it really been 12yrs since, it switched over...only seems a few years back.
Sharpie
Any idea why Sky didn't mop it up ? Mike Maybe going off their experiance with the PPV they did a few years back with the multi-camera angle options you could choose from. I used to use the Picture in Picture on my TV to have one half of the screen with in-car footage and the other half of the screen with the normal view but, just audio from Martin B as the SKY commentary was cr@p. It only lasted one season though
jamesmark
I will miss the adverts, how else will I be able to go pee and not miss the action? Agreed on the bring back Murray Walker.

colsoop
Good news, i hope they keep the interesting features that Itv brought to F1. Some of those were very interesting. Hopefully the beebs budget is good enough to do a respectable job of the coverage. You need brundell and Blundell though, hopefully they aren't contracted to ITV. RedM
I hope it's not Claire Balding! She seems to present every BBC sports event.

Agreed, I'd be lost without the weekly "Lewis walks on water" reports they put together for us to fill the 8 hour slot before that pesky race gets in the way
