TOOTHACHE - Ahhhhhhhhhhhh

SILKYSMOOTH

Recommended Posts

This'll distract you from the pain. You know the U2 song Hold Me Thrill Me Kiss Me Kill Me, well someone's released a parody version called Numb Me Drill Me Floss Me Bill Me. Guess what the theme is... :D

(apologies if this has been going around the internet for the last x years, I heard it for the first time 2 days ago). :)

:)

This one

NUMB ME, DRILL ME, FLOSS ME, BILL ME

Listen to the Muzak

Hearin' people scream

Sittin' in the waiting room

Readin' crappy magazines

With a toothache

This is it, pal

Root Canal

My molars are impacted

I'm gettin' gum disease

I'm gonna need some fillings

Got twelve cavities

Can you help me

Have mercy

Doctor, please

My teeth are a fright

Got a huge overbite

Numb me, drill me

Floss me, bill me

You jab at my nerve endings

It's driving me insane

Just give me nitrous oxide

Shoot me up with novocaine

Help me out here

'Cause I'm so severe

Pain

Please stop for a bit

Let me rinse and spit

Numb me, drill me

Floss me, bill me

You validate my parking

I think that I'm okay

But you make one more appointment for

A week from Saturday

'Cause you came upon

A little problem on

My x-ray

Oy vey!

I'm getting absurd

Well, I hope I'm insured, now

Numb me, drill me

Floss me, bill me

I graduated in 1998 so 'uni' is out of the question, but a good idea. I have a feeling I will be going abroad to get everything I need sorted out, probably get it cheaper and better quality work, but maybe I will let them do the prep work here first.

no.... dentists have to learn on someone. they take patients on with work that needs doing around their uni course. You get checked out by a qualified dentist then any work that is done is supervised by qualified dentists... I current have a 5th year student doing mine.... very good she is too!

I don't want no apprentice working on my teeth....

Problem is my dentist keeps changing, always someone new, this one has seen me once before and she is quite young'ish so I don't know wether to trust her judgement or not. specially with something like this....maybe I should get a second opinion or find a recommended dentist or just give her the benefit of the doubt.

Have you tried ibuprofen liquid capsules?

Once I cut one open and put it on my gum, got some on my tongue too. Whole frickin mouth went numb :) Its good stuff LOL

Cut one open & rub it into the painful area with a finger.

I'm glad to say that I seem to be past the major pain, maybe the anti-biotics are working well as well as all the treatment to infected area.

So thanks for all the advice and tips guys, a great help :)

Just hope it stays like this now until my next appointment.
