Take them out - and use 'AutoSol' on them. Its metal polish.

 

Will take a bit of effort but you can actually see the yellow crap thats come off on the rag you use.

 

Well worth £4 and some good old fashion elbow greese.

 

Faling that - a new set of lights? or some second hand UK glass lights?

Hey guys just a quickie,

 

what materials and products do i need to de yellow my front lights of my j spec gz.

they arent fully yellowed but on their way.

Yeah autosol is best. just an old cotton white T shirt, little circular motions if you wanna be anal about it.

 

takes about half an hour per light.

Not rong there mate - but well worth the time and effort.

I did mine a while ago, 10 minutes at 100 degrees in the oven seems to be enough to make the sealant go sticky so you can prise them apart, I used a plastic polish from a caravan place for use on plastic windows, its in a yellow tube. Worked really well.

But then I got some Glass ones.
