far
is it cheaper to convert an n/a nowadays rather than buy a tt? Your car doesnt look that modded cosmetically so I am wondering what the thought process was behind the conversion? ps not being critical - just curious
Dazzi
Not sure, you would have to take the resale price into consideration

Your car doesnt look that modded cosmetically so I am wondering what the thought process was behind the conversion? ps not being critical - just curious Part of it has to be that people jsut get attatched to there cars and if they can make it as fast as a TT without changing the car thats what they do to keep it as there car

I didn't want to sell my NA so i had the conversion done about a month ago! But my clutch wasn't holding very well so replaced it with an RPS

The end result being a TT facelift 6 speed with a nice bodykit and wheels

DodgyRog
Something most N/A owners are thinking about somewhere along the way. What did Keron charge for this fitted, Pm if you prefer. I bet it's brought back that huge smile:d that you had for the first few weeks after you first got it

2JG
I would like to know the costs involved if possible? H. I think the rough ball park figure is £3k-£3.5k if you just stay stock. This should include everything you need for the whole conversion, but could vary depending on where you have it done. It all depends on what you decide to get done before it's all put back in. If you go BPU and have a 5speed box then you'll more than likely have to upgrade the clutch at some point (not sure on the auto front?) I ended up spending over £1k on BPU parts as some of the stock parts needed replacing anyway
Masenko
I had mine done last week...I'm away now so I can't drive it...but I went straight from NA-UKTT BPU...big difference
