Sean1933
what point are you trying to make Ok not so much a point, more of a request. Wasnt aimed at you anyway Gaz, just at the other two bickering children. Point was made, why cant it be left at that? Instead of turning another thread into a random jaunt about how someone can spell or use grammer correctly (annoying that it is sometimes). Meh. PS: It's you not "u" and grammar Maybe not to you but saving £500 is quite important to me. If you dont like it Michael then dont read it. I work in insurance so i know the industry more than 99.9% of people on this website. I was just asking for advice from any other member in the same position as me if they can help. Your not helping so your opinion is not welcome, go and belittle someone else elsewhere. Oh and i know my grammar/spelling isnt perfect, but heyho some people have better things to do than spell/grammar check their posts before clicking 'post reply' . Kev.O
Anyone got anymore ideas as i just tried to accept Adrian Flux's quote and it turned out they had quoted me on a single UK SPEC , jumped up to £1525 when i told them it was an import! Thats shockingly poo. Help help help! Finally an advantage to having a UK spec I will need to add a few things to the a-plan quote as when after he gave me the price he went over the mods and there were a few missing, i didnt bother adding them as i thought i had a better quote from Adrian Flux. So for now it looks like the best price is adrian flux . I have been on the phone since 6pm and nobody can help . Rob, NCD is probably the big thing effecting your quote, your age even more so. As soon as your 21 it will drop considerably...or atleast mine did. Next big drop after that is 25. I'm going to be looking at single turbo insurance real soon, but was wondering whether to wait until I'm 25 in June assuming that it will go down a considerable amount. Guest Jon M
Prices aint bad at all mate, i wouldnt complain, im 23 in april just ran a price through for the 98 Jspec TT ive just brought from jurgen and it came up £1400ish with £400 xs (altho im getting it for £1100 with £300xs thro me mates old lady) anywho my best mates mum is an independant insurance broker whos been in the business for over 25 years so she knows her stuff and after giving me mate a bell and asking her said that if your getting quotes under 1500 and under 1200 to take them, unless you go for a shit company that quotes you happy but leaves you hanging yourself when it comes to a claim. Sean1933
I'm guessing that doesn't have an agreed value Sean? How many NCB do you have? Nope not agreed value. However basically if its damaged then they will replace like for like or if parts not available then we come to some sort of agreement. Oh and i have 3yrs NCB. Hello... Sean can I ask did you own and insure your supra at 18 or just own one? Owned and insured mate, via elephant (Admiral). I was either 18 or just 19 .
