MrRalphMan
Thanks Guys, yeah am well happy with her. Drove her to Work today and although I now remember what speed humps are all about again, loved it.. She had a new N/S wing, N/S door glass + N/S door mirror. The front bumper/door and rear quarter had damage repaired. I also had a few little bits done so most stone chips are history too.. Drives nice, a little pull to the left.. Can't wait until the replacement wheel get's in to make it complete.. Again thanks to everyone who offered wheels to help and a big thank you to Jon (Pig) for lending my a spare set.. I had this done at body shop in Stock, the boss is an ex neighbour of mine so I knew he work was top notch.. He's done load of work for Ford's (Exotic cars, not your normal Escorts etc) and some stuff that has been in films... Cannot recommend him enough.. Keith C
How much did all that cost if you don't mind? If you got mates rates, how much would it have cost at non-mates-rates?
MrRalphMan
I only saw the original quote for labour/Paint.... L = 1,100 P = 280 That was to include replaceming the suspension, which was no longer required. Only a bottom arm was changed. Haven't seen the final bill. I could always check if he's willing to do a club discount, I know he's not the cheapest, but he is good.

stevie_b
Pleased that the car got repaired, and to an excellent standard by the look of the pics! Like others I am shocked that the police didn't seem interested at all. Their attitude left you with 2 choices: 1) Abandon getting any kind of justice and absorb any financial hit yourself; or 2) Go for a search for the offending van. This is basically doing the police's job for them, and depending on what action the angry victim takes if he finds the van, could be a short step from vigilante-ism. Policitians have warned against vigilante behaviour in the past. Well, here's the cause and effect.
