Kirk
Ok here's the situation. The last few days the dogs bin 'apperently' ill although he doesn't exactly look it. He's not eating anything we give him not even a piece of beef he just knocks his bowl over and walks away. He's bin throwing up a lil bit aswel. Took him to the vets and they couldnt find anything wrong with him, fit as ever. Anyone have any ideas what I can try?

edge
My dog went through a stage of not wanting to eat and was healthy. We then only fed him 1 larger meal per day. If you feel he may have guts ache or similar them give him some rice and chicken as its easy on them. The vets sell it in tins but is typically overpriced. Ill try that one and see how he reacts Cheers
edge
But not to much of it though as if he is feeling rough it may come straight up. so less then half what you would normally feed him but 2 or 3 times a day.

Steviekid
The signs your dog is showing could be caused by loads of different conditions. If he's no better soon I'd go back to the vets and get a work up done, probably starting with bloods and X-rays.

Supragal
I would not feed him for 24 hours then try again with a smaller amount than normal. When he does eat, is his poo normal?
n boost
I had a dog which would not eat because it was depressed. I had taken the bulmastiff from a dogs homes and it had got depressed while being locked up there.
Kirk
Now I'm realy worried! Its been 4 days since he last ate, its not that he can't eat its the fact that he won't eat! He just refuses to eat and have to try and feed him myself. He's drinking fine, actin like his normal self. I just don't get it

n boost
Yes i would get a vet to check him asap. The dog could have swalloed something and might have tummy upset or could be more serious. Don't want to scare u but i lost one of my dogs because she had knotted her stomach up by jumping around and i thought she just had swalloed something so did nothing and thought i she would be fine tomorrow because she just looked bloated, but died 3 hrs later and i felt like $hit. Kirk
Well the dog went to the vet, once again checked out and still couldn't find anything wrong so took him home and he had a bit of food which I was suprised at. Assumed everythign was ok, took him out before work this morning, came home from work and there he was curled up. Appeared to be sleeping but sadly he had passed away Never just a pet to me always family. Such a shock.
