Gerry
Many thanks to Mark at Poenix and Matt Harwwod who BPU'd me last week. Picked the car up yesterday and had a great trip home Feels just like the last one now. It's boosting to just over 1 BAR - now to decide on a Boost Controller to pop it up to 1.2 for them moments when you like just a bit more Fitted: Whifbits de-cat pipes + R/R Denso IK22 Thor FCD Walbro fuel pump Blitz MD boost gauge plus: Levoc gear shift Goodrich brake lines Already have RSR zaust & Thor DSC TSD Question... How accurate are boost gauges ? If it's reading 1 BAR can I trust it ? Cheers G
hogmaw
Boost gauges are mostly for show imo, the best thing is to take the reading off the boost controller. Nice being BPU tho isn't it?!

Gerry
Congrats... Which model Walbro fuel pump was it ? Is it better than the stock UK spec pump ? Also what size RR and downpipe did u fit ? 255lt/hr fuel pump, not sure how it compares with the UK one. 2.5" decat pipes with a 2" RR (which Whifbits say will give 1-1.1 BAR ish). mplavery
I have a HKS boost controller, really happy with it. This is a old model now, you can adjust the boost on the digital screen now.

TopgunTT
Well done on going Bpu. Trying to get my bits together to go bpu, reguarding the Thor fcd is it right that these are set at 1.25? Why not 1.2 which is supposed to be the safe limit ? if so are these capable of being adjusted.
