I would be pushing for over 9k and if you get some better photos that would help, The photo has the front sitting up high and makes it look terrible good photos at good angles and that would make over 9k. Oh and clean the engine bay at least make it look like it is your pride and joy even if it isn't anymore.

This is yours i take it?

Then compare to this with half the miles and a lot less money, sorry to be harsh but there is so many for sale they have to be priced right if you want a sale:)

Bloody hell, 12k is a lot. I was offered one from a member on here, similar milage with the cleanest engine bay i have seen in my life for 6k :)

Thank you all. I have reduced the price and reworded the advert (on Pistonheads), it now lists at £9795 assuming a drop to £8xxx with negotiation.

The pictures have to stay though as the weather is absolutely terrible.

I've given up about worrying about Supra values. I effectively made money on my first MkIV after owning it for three years and putting 40k miles on it and part x'ing it for close to what I paid for it. This one however has dropped like a stone.

Its relative however, so any future Supra I buy will be a similarly silly price. At least you have the OMG six speed box rather than the (snigger) Lepertronic.

If you were offered a VVTi TT6 for £6k I'll eat my hat. I got more than that for a VVti Tip with a knackered engine.

This black one is worth £8500-£9000 all day. I'd buy it myself but I don't need a divorce right now.

Thanks for all your advice. The car is advertised here now as well as Pistonheads. I left my email on Pistonheads and have had one "I will give you a cheque if you'll ship to ... " type messages.

Steve

I put my 6 Speed TT up on there last month and had 3 emails like that - just delete them without even reading them - they are a total waste of time.

I had 2 off a bloke called 'Alfano' asking if id ship it to South Africa!

Well, that makes me feel a bit better, thank you.

When I advertised on eBay my favourite question was:

"If I come and test drive and I leave my sister with you, will I get a good discount?"

I replied asking for pictures, but didn't get a reply :)

I put a car ad on ebay once, was for my subaru impreza wrx - NEVER AGAIN.

Best one i had was..................

'' Hi mate, can I borrow the car for a 24 hour test drive. I want to use it for a day to see what shes like. Ill take good care of her. thanks'

Again, i never even wasted time in replying!

Well, my Supra didn't sell unfortunately at a (what I think is) reasonable £8995.

If I hear one more Cardeal or Cardata person I will personally track down their call center and 'go postal'.

Steve

You need more patience mate. Stick to the price and wait. I sold my car after 5 months...
