Unless I'm reading those graphs wrong it looks horribly lean.

How much boost is it running and in what gear were those logs from?

The logs were done in 3rd gear at WOT.

The car is running 0.6 bar of boost. Car is definately running lean. He hasn't finished setting it up yet so has more to do on the e-manage.

It's also very important to have the boost pressure logged against the afr & rpm. It's pretty meaningless to map without knowing the boost. The EMB software can is capable of doing this.

Surprised it hasn't gone bang with those afr's.

Edit - looks like he's using the LM1 software rather than the EMB datalogging :Pling:

IIRC the 0-5v output from the LM1 needs to be wired to one of the additonal inputs on the EMB (can't recall right now). That'll allow the afr reading to be logging by the EMB software.

That is correct.

I will hopefully be removing mine tomorrow so will be able to tell you the colours/input :)

All the details of the various wideband to EMB setups have been posted here in the past, but it'll take some time to dig out all the details. For example the LM1 has a linear signal were as the AEM I used had a scaling one.

To be honest it sounds like your mate doesn't know what he's doing. Anyone who has the slightest idea of fueling will know that if those AFR's are correct the engine will be busy lunching itself. I'm not convinced providing him with the correct logging will allow him to setup a safe map...

Wow that is lean... but I reckon that point's been made enough by now :slapped:

I'm pretty sure that on the Blue you use the airflow2 input to get the wideband signal into it.

It looks as though it goes lean as soon as it gets +ve boost :search: gotta be a clue that...

Has it got a greddy pressure sensor on it? Or anything?

Has he actually changed to bigger injectors? And judging by the state it's in later in the rev range, a couple of grades colder plug?

19:1 afrs at 4000rpm :bang: good lord.

Seriously, it might be time to do a leakdown test after all that.
