CJ
I noticed that on the Netgear site they have a firmware update for my router. At the moment it seems to be working fine so should I ignore it and leave well alone or update it? I am worried I might bugger up some of the existing settings and then wont know how to put things right.

colsoop
I upgraded the firmware on my router to add extra functionality but it is easy to mess up so unless you are having issues or don't mind the risk then i wouldn't bother.
MrRalphMan
Unless you need the extra features, I'd go with - If it ain't broke.........

MrRalphMan
Just ignored own advice and upgraded my V2 router. No issues apart from losing the help panel on the right. Any one used the new parental controls?
