Sparky
Hi all, The girlfriends taking me to London for my birthday but i havent been since i was a kid and now im older i'd love to do as much as possible in the 3 days to make the weekend special. So apart from the london eye, natural history museum, tower bridge etc what else is there to do? We're staying in the docklands. The information on the web is overwelming! Any decent shows on atm? caseys
I'd still recommend having a browse around Carnaby street, Covent Garden and if it's your thang, Camden Town (there's a great bar on the lock to get pissed at if it's sunny) Can't help you with shows tho, not my bag I'm afraid, I'd go see if there's any gigs on at the Astoria
fri3ndly
I went to London for 3 days a month ago with my girlfriend. We went on the Eye, to the london dungeons and went to see Wicked the musical. It sounds gay but that musical is actually brilliant! (Go see it) Or Blood Brothers is a good one if you like drugs/violence. You could also go to the Imax, I havent been but I really want to

Pete
There are some great things to do in London if you can bare the denizens. My advice is to hop on a train and get the hell out of there.

Charlotte
Camden is definitely worth a visit although I'm not sure the market area is ok now after the fire. If paintings and stuff are your thing there is an excellent exhibition on in the Royal Academy of Arts (Picadilly) - Paintings from Moscow and St Petersburg which are in the UK for the first time. http://www.royalacademy.org.uk/events/ There is loads of other stuff but really you need to be more specific about what you like doing. Gerry
You could always do the 92nd best thing to do in London (official). http://www.urbanpath.com/london/adult/harmony-oxford-street.htm Great shop, Soo & I had much fun there, very posh and full of interesting items & gifts - especially down stairs ! Very hard to concentrate on shopping with a big TV showing Silvia Saint doing her (uncut) thing in the room recommended...

tooquicktostop
If you are in docklands it would be worth a visit to the Tutankhamun expo at the o2 (the dome), there is a museum in the docklands which is ok if you like that kind of thing, also a some nice bars and restaurants by the water If you want something nice to eat in docklands there is a Gastro pub called The Gun which is very nice and Gordon Ramsey has a pub here as well called The Narrow, very nice and again on the water When travelling into the west end get the boat not the tube from the pier in docklands Have fun

caseys
Im liking the idea of that one. Covent garden sounds good. Anyone else? If your girlfriend is up for a strip club I'd push it further and go for a night out at The Torture Garden (google it).... deviant clothing and a gas mask or grinder (the kind you use on metalwork..) may be required. Mmmm deviantness.
