Glosphil
I have just replaced the seals in my slave and master cylinder due to them leaking. I've put it all back together, but the fitting that connects the pipe to the master cylinder is now leaking. I've done it up as tight as I can yet it still keeps leaking between the pipe and the screw fitting. I've not managed to bur off the edges so can no longer do it up tighter or undo it. Can anyone help?

simbasupra
sounds like the pipe is possibly cross threaded in the master cylinder?
Glosphil
Its ok, I've ordered a whole new pipe system from Steve Manley, should be delivered tomorrow. I've since found out I should of used a brake line spanner, but used a normal spanner and burred all the edges off.. ho hum, you learn as you work I supposed.
