HID Ballasts

I can't see it to be honest, they are made to operate at their operating temperature (goes without saying) and i can't see them getting much hotter in there with cold air constantly blowing on them.

As mentioned there's a mouting hole on the drivers side, just behind the airbox, left of the induction piping.

On the passenger side, you can remove the bolt holding the washer fluid funnel and use the hole and bolt to fit the ballast. You should be able to fit the funnel nicely afterwards. All this of cause depends on what kind of mounting brackets you have available.

Well the brackets that came with mine do seem to be quite large IMO. Around 5" x 3" (in old money). I'm assuming most mounting brackets are around this size too?

 

Yip, IIRC they are around that size. They fold over one another and use one mounting point to hold them?

 

If i could get out of the house i would take pics for you. I'm sitting getting drunk instead! :innocent:
