... Looks like I'm not.

Just had the following question and I got it wrong... and I really don't think I did.. (Bad loser coming out).

What do you think the answer should be?

A baby needs feeding for 20 minutes every four hours. If they start a feed at 19:00, what time will they finish the next feed.

I'll put a poll up, but to my shame I got it wrong...

If only there was a conveyor belt involved... :(

I read it as needing feeding every four hours, for twenty minutes - 23:20.

Big Ben plays the Westminster chimes every hour, starting just before the hour changes; they don't start an hour after the previous lot finished. The interval is regular, regardless of the duration.

At least, that's my argument for when I'm wrong :)

Feed every four hours...

Current feed begins at 19.00, then feed four hours later, 23.00.

Feeding takes twenty minutes, so next feed ends 23.20.

Ahhhhh, so i was right. Very good. Im glad i read the question wrong.

answer is 23:40, the first feed started at 19:00 but went on until 19:20 so the four hours starts at 19:20 which is 23:20 then feed again for 20 minutes so thats 23:40 :p

That would mean the baby is fed every four hours and twenty minutes, not every four hours. Irrational...does not compute...brain hurts....plane takes off. Possibly.
