Scary high speed handling & tramlining

Right i have had the following oem parts replaced:

Rear upper arm left & right

Rear lower arm left & right

Front upper arm left & right

front lower arm left & right

+ front and rear drop links.

Also not too long ago i had the front wheel bearings replaced at a local garage.

The car at the moment is a handful, it tramlines, and is nervous to drive. When i take a corner at high speed it feels very unsafe. It is not very confidence inspiring.

I have ordered new anti roll bars hoping this will help.

i also get a clunking from the rear left side going over bumps.

Could something have come loose at the front causing the issue ? would a poorly installed wheel bearing cause a problem ?

Any other thoughts i am seriously fed up with it at the moment. :(

I've experienced handling like that due to three things:

1) Worm suspension bushes (yours should be OK on that front!)

2) Poorly adjusted shocks (my fault, I turned one one way and the other the other way)

3) Different tyre pressures up front.

Buggered shocks can emulate 2) as well.

I've not experienced it though bad geometry setup but I'd 100% agree that it can cause your car to feel awful, as that's basically what 1) does as well.

Whilst a dead shock may well give these traits I assumed tha having changed so much of the back suspension a shock coated in oil would have been noticed. For sure if the shocks are really knackered you can have issues, but to me it sounds like classic rear steer through bad geo or toe change.

It was fitted and set up by your good self chris.
