Is there any way of increasing the torque to go steady with the bhp either mechanically or via tuning methods?

Yup get Ash to lose the 264in cam for a 272in ;)

Also this turbo is not even getting warmed up yet. At 1.8bar then it will really start flowing. :)

Must admit I was truly shocked how fast it made positive pressure. Its the first supra i have been in to make Wes's feel slow.

oooh, wez, that has to hurt...!

Ash, just out of interest, sat in 4th, cruising at 4k, light throttle... you then plant the pedal, what is pickup like until you get full power? half a sec, 1.5? just curious to the throttle response...

congrats on the figures, that is awesome... I bet you are the tyre shops best friend ;)

You are now front row at Marham. Don't you dare blow it up before then.. supra pride... lol

Thanks Mike,

throttle is quite responsive, i'm not sure 4th gear pull be, but i will let you know, soon as i change the alternator as i'm loosing volts at high RPM.

Since i have changed tyres+full geoset up, my new TR1's have minimal traction issues the grip is phenomenal, so no more spinning out an clipping cones at Marham :D

It is an incredible car, sounds evil.

He is going to blitz me on the Marham straight again :(

All good fun mate :D

What are you changing it to? Just a stock one?

Is this because your other one is broken/worn, I've never heard of this problem before

On the data log we see 13.4 volt on boost, so i hope its a worn.

I got another alt which i'll get tested and fit temperley.

My old will be converted to a high output 175 amp jobby. ;)

not being funny but i know which one i would prefer to drive ;)

Yes, I've had that argument too...

until a scooby almost kept up with me on a 35R.

Kyle had an order for a 4088R the next day!!

who needs first and second anyway ;)

Looking forward to Marham... I'm still head down in the engine bay and, until this evening, it was looking like I might not be there..

:blink:Seriously?

I assume if it wasnt standard?

Your probably the best one to ask about this what do you prefer/regret about moving to the GT4088R, did you keep the GT35R?

I'm thinking of buying both, once the 35R is mapped then firing in the GT4088R and tweeking my map, keeping both, it would be around a 10min swap with 4bolts and the V-Band connection
