2000/3000 grit sandpaper - where to buy?

3M do plenty of wet and dry grade flatting paper.

The 2000 grit we use is called Prefect-it-111 and the part number is 09546. You should be able to get it from any bodyshop suppliers like, bancrofts,brown brothers( now unipart ppg)oxford paint supplies,T.R.I. colour centres or you can order it on line from places like metalflake.co.uk or carpaint ware house etc

Thanks very much for the info mate :) I really only need 3 or 4 sheets (it's to refurb some plastic lights) PM send!

For future reference a lot of detailing suppliers and even some larger Halfords type places have the Meguiars Unigrit stuff. They do a 2000, 2500 and 3000 I think.

 

I have a few Abralon pads and discs that are quite handy, you can pick them up at all kinds of places and lots of online suppliers like this:
