Soaruss
Thought about getting one of these to transfer some of my old vinyl http://www.readersoffers.co.uk/I-E372-LIV4-2/retro-turntable-with-usb-port.htm
hogmaw
That is strange it is very easy to record vinyl to PC without having to buy a whole new turntable with a USB on it. All you need is a simple phono lead from the amp to the PC. There is tons of free software out there to edit and convert the wav to an mp3 or whatever. I do it all the time and I am a total spaz at computers
RiceRocket
They're usually for sale in the tv mags (radiotimes I think) for £50.
ivan
Maplin sell one too. http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=98232&C=Maplin&U=SearchTop&T=turntable&doy=13m3 Sony will get away with charging twice the price though. I've just finished transfering our complete collection to mp3. Did it manually with a record deck, phono cable and Creative software. DamanC
Maplin sell one too. http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=98232&C=Maplin&U=SearchTop&T=turntable&doy=13m3 I set one of these up for a client that went out and bought one. I must say, I was rather impressed with it
