oilman
We are looking at stocking these quality spark plugs in the future. I am interested in any opinions that forum Members here may have on them. So, what's your opinion on them? Are they good? What sort of price would be attractive for a set of 4? Thanks in advance for any feedback that you have. Cheers Simon
secondjump
I use them - cured a splutter at high boost. IK24's seem reliable on my BPU car. A price for six would be good.

Marco
Denso's are excellent! I'm using IK22's atm for about 8K miles. Checked them yesterday and they still were in perfect nick! - except for the 2 that were drowning in oil - but thats a different matter I got them for £10 each, how much can you sell them for? Jake
That's about what I paid for IK22s locally, just over a tenner - £10.48 or something like that. I wouldn't buy them again though, I'd rather use NGK BCPR7ES for £10 a set and change them regularly.
Whitesupraboy2
Jake same plugs for my NA?? would you know. If so you just given me the part number for NGK's cheers

merckx
I'd rather use NGK BCPR7ES for £10 a set and change them regularly. I agree, the Denso's are far too expensive. The NGK's are fine.
oilman
We are looking to do them at low prices with no carriage when you buy oil from us but we are still doing the numbers and the research so we'll let you know the details when we have them. Thanks for the feedback. Cheers Simon
Alex
Denso is good but TRD Japan is better Sorry mate, you're talking bollocks Denso MAKE TRD plugs! I know as I have them in at the moment. If you look at them closely you'll see the TRD plugs actually have the Denso IKxx rating on them and Denso is stamped on them round the ring. Denso IK22's are perfect for a TT Supra running upto 1.2bar. IK24's are good for about 1.6bar and are really the most any of us will ever need on a properly mapped car. IK27's are good for mega power you're talking Race engines really...then come the IK31's which are even colder - I wouldn't recommend either for a normal engine. I used to get IK22'2 and IK24's for £7.54+ vat each. If you can beat that price and then keep delivery costs down too you'll be onto a winner. That was my price from Partco. The distributor for the UK is Blueprint. I have never had a problem with a Denso plug - but also worth considering is the NGK Iridium and NGK IXtreme Iridium if you can get them in the right thread and fitment size. tDR
My personal opinion is Iridium plugs are a waste of money - NGK coppers are much cheaper and do the same job. Worth stocking BCPR7ES for BPU cars and BCPR8ES for the more extremely modified cars.. under a tenner a set (6) delivered and you've got a winner
oilman
I'm getting mixed views across 25 forums. I would say NGK seem to have the vote on balance at the moment. Cheers Simon

Thorin
Denso IK24's for me.
Alex
I think you'd happily sell both And to have a reliable stockist of both would definately be an advantage. NGK's are cheap and last 2 oil changes max. Denso Iridiums are expensive and last about 6 oil changes minimum. (Based on 4,000mile intervals. The only issue with Denso's is that they are so tough the engine tends to break before they do...so if you've got a badly tuned car they won't generally be the first thing to go.
