Pete
Don't forget to order your new tax disc before Wednesday to avoid having to pay the robbing b*stards any more than you need to. I've just had to pay mine for the Tiger - that really winds me up. It does a few hundred miles a year and they want £180 for the privilege. Pete
£180 for a kit car!!! Thats nuts. I know its a powerful beasty but I thought kit cars were cheaper to tax. It's because it's pre whatever year they brought the rule in so it's charged the same as the Supra. Age related plate. I thought the earliest you could get it was the 15th. That's what it says on my reminder anyway. Well it went through online ok and says start date 1/4/2008
Pete
why do we need to avoid getting it on wednesday whats happening tax price rise, sorry i havent seen any thing about it in the papers or on the news??? http://www.shropshirestar.com/2008/03/10/gas-guzzlers-face-1000-road-tax/ Roadtax always increases. Previous years I've been stung by the usual rise as even though it says £180 on your renewal, they'll charge you the new price.
Sharpie
Yeah that....^^^^ I got my reminder over the weekend!! H. Me too, I stared the online process and then noticed the red text on the reminder Mr Darling has his big day on Wednesday Although, in the 2007 Budget, was it not set out the Car road tax for the next 2 years ? one of the reasons I sold my 3.3 Voyager as it was band G (£300 for 07/08 and going to £400 in 08/09). Let me see....... I think we only go up ~£
