Have you had the big storm and wind yet?

I got dragged into here with the amusing thread title, I thought it might have been a food related incident... Now I'm disappointed, and hungry...

How about changing the thread title so it's storm related (As no doubt there will be one)...

PS - We're not blowey yet in Cheltenham...

the wind has just started pickin up in the last hr and had a few showers (15miles south of bude) seems to have been the calm b4 the storm here today as it has been everywhere else. been to evesham today and it was unseasonably mild etc. noone seems to have spotted me tho :( I thought a 400mile round trip would at least see me famous on the 'was it you?' forum) .............I'm ok tho......I don't need to be spotted.........I have more important things to worry about.... :bye: .....honest.....

If you want to see Supra's then come to Eastbourne, as there's always about 5 of them pootling about at some stage or another ;)

Very windy in Eastbourne, but no flooding tide just yet. I think the next bout of wind will coincide with a spring high tide, so I may pop down there and watch it later.

It was quite strange driving to work today, and not really feeling that it was that bad at all, but then driving in a Supra everything seems rosy doesn't it ;)

I was laughing this morning when this was all over the news.

'stop press - london is getting a bit breezy' must be national news then.

Blimey in the north we get 70-80-90 mph winds regularly through the winter.... nobody batters an eye lid..... but when london gets a 50-60mph wind it is then 'national emergency'.

I was laughing at the stupid reporters who were purposly standing between buildings where the air naturally increases speed.... and they were dancing all over the street to make it look as if they were in a hurricane !! (Whilst normal passers by were easily walking along with no problems).
